My stay at the hotel was exactly what I expected from a top-class hotel like Marriott. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with marble and glass accents, offering stunning views and great comfort. However, the dining could use more variety in the breakfast options. The service was impeccable, especially with the help of David from the guest relations team. The location was superb, making it easy to access meeting destinations, enjoy sightseeing, and explore shopping and dining options. Overall, a fantastic experience with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers spacious and modern rooms that are super comfortable, but some aspects like the smaller shower and dated furnishings don't live up to the usual Ritz quality. Service is top-notch with empathetic staff and cute personalized touches, though the dining experience could use some improvements. The location is perfect for exploring the neighborhood on foot and is convenient for sightseeing. The dining options are fabulous, offering a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Overall, a great choice for leisure days in a central location.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms had a good city view of West Nanjing Road, and although slightly outdated, they were impeccably clean and well-maintained. However, I was disappointed that my reserved non-smoking room smelled of smoke, and the TV screen was broken with a dark mark in the middle of the picture.
Staying at the Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai was an upscale experience with attentive service and a convenient location in a high-end shopping district. The rooms, while spacious, could have used some updating, but overall, it was a pleasant stay with excellent service.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The rooms were modern, spacious, and well maintained with excellent cleanliness. Unfortunately, my room wasn't available upon my arrival, which was a minor inconvenience. The service provided by Lucile, the Assistant Club Manager, was exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even surprising us with a lovely birthday treat. The location in the heart of Jing'an District was perfect, with easy access to numerous top-quality local and international restaurants. The dining experience was outstanding, offering a wide range of options and impeccable service. Overall, a great value for the money.
